Funny thing is. Everyone thinks that the new iPhone could only come out at October or September. Even though its believed apple would/n’t follow its own pattern of how they run things in the past. if we look at it; the iDevice actually introduced a iPhone OS or iOS, or the other way around.

iPhone 3g & iPod Touch 2g - iPhone OS 2
iPhone 3GS Oldbootrom - iPhone OS 3
iPhone 3GS Newbootrom & iPod Touch 3G - iPhone OS 3.1
iPad - iPhone OS 3.2
iPhone 4 & iPod Touch 4G(black) - iOS 4

so comparing to the history. If WWDC announces that iOS 6 pops out, would Apple leave the iOS New iDeviceless?

To me they could just be announcing Mountain Lion. Did we forget about that.
